Why Ayurveda-first software changes client care
Most practice-management software is adapted from generic clinic templates. That works for a single consultation, but Ayurveda care is longitudinal: a presenting concern is tracked across follow-ups, therapy plans evolve, and a client's daily routine matters as much as any single visit.
Presenting concerns, not appointments
Kosha Connect timelines are anchored on the presenting health concern (PHC), not the calendar. Every follow-up note, therapy plan revision, and status change attaches to that concern, so a practitioner can open a client's record and immediately see the arc of care rather than a flat list of appointments.
What this means day to day
- Follow-up notes stay attached to the concern they describe, in order.
- Therapy plans are versioned, so you can see what changed and why.
- Closing a concern is a deliberate action, not an accident of an empty calendar.
We built this because the alternative — bending a generic EMR into an Ayurveda shape — kept losing the thread between visits. A practice tool should follow how the practice actually works.
